With over 20 years of experience in the aesthetic industry, Krista is the very proud owner of Natural Balance Day Spa. After graduating from Goshen Academy of International Beauty in 1997, Krista worked in a number of different spa settings, including Deerhurst Resort, other high-end resorts in the Muskoka area, as well as some well-known spas here in Barrie. With an eye for decorating (her other passion), she has created a relaxing oasis in the heart of Barrie's south end. She took all the best of each spa and put it into her own. Possessing a delicate touch, she is a master of her trade bringing her knowledge of skin, body, and nail care to her clients. Along with her staff, she has created a hidden gem just waiting to be discovered.
In the aesthetic industry for over 20 years, Michelle graduated from Zehava School of Esthetics in 1997. In June 2004, she opened her own spa in Alliston, and after running her spa for 5 years, Michelle decided to close her doors to focus on being a full-time mom to her daughter Josie, and son, Carmen. After taking 3 years off to raise her children, she decided to get back to her first passion, aesthetics, and joined the team at Natural Balance Day Spa in August 2012. Growing her clientele over the last 5 years, her clients have come to love her bubbly, outgoing personality, as well as her knowledge of all things beauty and health related. Alongside Krista and the other staff members, she makes sure each client has a relaxing, rejuvenating experience each time they visit.
Christine graduated in 2012 from Rinaldi College of Aesthetics and has been with Natural Balance Spa since June 2015. She then took a year off following the birth of her daughter, Emilia, in April 2017; she is now back part-time with the team. She has extensive training in aesthetic as well as medical aesthetic. Her training includes laser hair removal and laser skin rejuvenation. Christine enjoys facials and massages, as well as educating her clients on how to enhance their own skin care routine at home. She creates a positive and relaxing experience for each client with her fun, yet professional aura. She is looking forward to taking care of her previous clients, as well as building her clientele further.
Sydney is a graduate of the Georgian College aesthetic program and has been with Natural Balance Day Spa since May 2017. She has always had a passion for skin care and beauty for as long as she can remember, stemming from her own personal skin experience growing up. Sydney brings a gentle touch and a calming personality to the team. As an aesthetician, her goal is to share her knowledge and teach her clients how to care for their skin, body, and nails while helping empowering them to feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.
At Natural Balance Day Spa, we want to ensure each client arrives prepared to relax. To do so, we advise:
Arriving 15 minutes prior to your treatment time to complete any consultation forms, then allowing you a few minutes to unwind
Turning cell phones off or setting them to silent mode
Ensuring that any children under the age of 16 are accompanied by an adult and only at the spa if they are receiving a treatment
We understand that things can come up at times; however, if you’re running late, we may have to customize your treatment to stay on schedule for our next guest.
When booking packages or group bookings over $125, we require a credit card number to hold your spots. A few other things to keep in mind:
24-hour notice for cancellations of services of 3 or more
72-hour notice for group booking cancellations
48-hour notice for changes to any services in a large group booking
If you are unable to provide us adequate notice, a 25% charge will be added to the card on file.
If your cancellations occur the evening before or the day of a group or package booking, and in this event that we are unable to fill your spots on such short notice, your card on file will be charged 100% of the service fees.
A 15% gratuity will automatically be added to large group bookings of 4 people or more.
